A successful investment company is seeking a staff accountant to join its Norfolk team. Typical duties include general ledger accounting; financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling; investment accounting, tracking, and daily pricing; and financial reporting. This position offers strong opportunities for growth and excellent bonus potential above base salary.The candidate must have a bachelors degree in accounting or finances with a GPA of 3.2 or higher, 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience, strong computer skills particularly Excel, excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, desire to work in a fast-paced and deadline drive environment, attention to detail, interest in the investment industry, and a proven record of excellence.
